BINBIN offers a solution for waste management, enabling individuals to separate their waste streams directly at the source. By segregating waste, it avoids the need for incineration, allowing it to be transformed into valuable raw materials to produce new products.
The materials BINBIN uses for the waste bin is what makes them sustainable. One of the key materials used is steel and steel stands out as the most recycled material worldwide. Its recyclability knows no bounds, as it can be reused an unlimited number of times. 88% of the steel in the waste bin is from recycled steel and a 100% of the can be reused again.
Bamboo is natures smart material
Another material that BINBIN uses is bamboo, for the cover of the bin. Bamboo, known for its rapid growth, can grow between 5 to 120 centimeters per day and cultivating bamboo requires less water compared to traditional wood sources, making it an environmentally friendly choice. Additionally, bamboo possesses exceptional strength, ensuring the durability and longevity of the waste bin. Notably, a single square meter of bamboo has the capacity to store 267.2 kilograms of CO2 per year, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The Globular was designed in collaboration with municipalities, healthcare institutions and schools.
The BINBIN Public is a bin fully made from recyclable steel, ready to be used in heavy public places. It can handle a lot of heavy use.
