BINBIN Group is the data controller for all data processing on the aforementioned domains.
- Which personal data do we process?
We process data depending on your use of our website(s), services and webshop.
2.1 Data you actively provide to us
For example when you:
- Submit a contact form
- Request a quotation
- Sign up for our newsletter
- Create an account in the shop
- Place an order
Examples of data:
Name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, address, billing details, order details, order notes.
2.2 Data automatically collected (via cookies and tracking)
With your consent, BINBIN collects data through:
- Google Analytics 4 (anonymous or full tracking depending on consent)
- Google Ads & Remarketing
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- HubSpot tracking code
- Leadinfo (B2B IP recognition)
- Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, user behaviour)
Examples:
IP address (anonymised where possible), cookie IDs, device and browser information, visited pages, behaviour on the website, completed forms.
Cookiebot is used to request consent and only places cookies after consent is given (Consent Mode v2).
- What do we use your data for? (Purposes + legal basis)
3.1 Contact, quotations and customer requests
Purpose: responding to questions, providing quotations, customer communication.
Legal basis: legitimate interest or performance of a contract.
3.2 Orders in the webshop
Purpose: processing payments, order handling, shipping, invoicing.
Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Payments are processed through:
- Mollie (EU)
- o2Factoring (payment on account)
- Payfast (payments from South Africa)
3.3 Newsletter (opt-in)
Purpose: sending updates and marketing messages.
Legal basis: consent.
You can unsubscribe at any time.
3.4 Marketing & analytics
Purpose: website analysis, advertising optimisation, remarketing, funnel analysis.
Legal basis: consent via Cookiebot.

3.5 B2B lead enrichment (Leadinfo)
Leadinfo links IP addresses of business visitors to company information.
We receive no personal data, only company information.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (B2B lead generation).
3.6 Security and abuse prevention
Purpose: securing our systems, detecting misuse.
Legal basis: legitimate interest.

- Analytical cookies (can be anonymous)
- Marketing cookies (only with consent)
Cookiebot always displays the up-to-date list of cookies per provider, including retention periods.
- Do we share personal data with third parties?
Yes, but only when necessary for our services.
We share data with:

- Email providers (newsletter)

Data transfer outside the EU
Some tools (Google, Meta, HubSpot, Leadinfo) process data outside the EU.
We use:
- SCCs (Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Additional protection measures
Cookiebot manages the correct Consent Mode configuration for Google services.
- Retention periods
- Quotation requests: up to 5 years (after last contact)
- Customer data: up to 7 years (legal administrative duty)
- Newsletter registrations: as long as you are subscribed
- Website analytics: according to the tool’s retention period, max. 26 months
- Heatmaps (Clarity): max. 12 months
