Cooperation between VEPA Furniture Factory and BINBIN: A Circular Supply Chain

BINBIN and VEPA Furniture Factory recently signed a cooperation agreement enabling them to strengthen each other in the field of sustainability and circular production. This collaboration is an example of the power of co-creation and cooperation within the supply chain, with both parties committed to future-oriented growth and progress.

The collaborators

VEPA has chosen to collaborate with six innovative companies; BINBIN, Plantics, Object Carpet, Peeze, Bywyd and Plastic Whale. Together, they form a fully circular supply chain, with each link making a valuable contribution to the reuse of materials.

A great example of this circular approach is Peeze, a coffee roaster that transports its coffee beans in burlap bags. After these bags have fulfilled their primary function, they are given a new life at VEPA, where they are made into beautiful, circular chairs and bar stools.

VEPA also cooperates with Plastic Whale, a company that fishes plastic from Amsterdam’s canals and converts this waste into sustainable office furniture together with VEPA. These joint efforts show how VEPA actively contributes to reducing waste and closing the materials cycle.

An important part of this cooperation is that VEPA is also involved in the production of BINBIN’s high-quality waste bins. Our designer waste bins are not only sustainable, but will now also be included in VEPA’s range, making them more widely available to customers seeking circular solutions for their office design.

This collaboration is a perfect illustration of how companies can contribute to a more sustainable future through innovation and shared values. VEPA and BINBIN show that it is possible to make an impact together by putting sustainability at the heart of the production process.
